AUTOBEE Legacy

Autobee is an unmanned autonomous systems team founded at Istanbul Technical University's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. After its establishment in 2016, the team's first project was participating in the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC) organized by Oklahoma University in the United States. Autobee made its debut in IGVC in 2017.

New journey begins

Entering autonomous vessel world

The journey that began in the United States continued with participation in Teknofest competitions and METU VTOL competitions. Our team continued to improve and in 2023, Autobee won the first-place award in the Njord Autonomous Ship Challenge competition held in Norway.

Our Journey So Far

2016

AUTOBEE IS FOUNDED

Autobee was founded in order to develop intelligent gorund vehicles for civilian and military purposes. At the beggining of their journey, Team Autobee has developed first ground vehicle in house and attended to the IGVC 2016.

2017

SECOND GROUND VEHİCLE

In 2016 Autobee has already become a veteran in field of intelligent ground vehicle development. Team has decided to attend 2017 IGVC and show their skills.
